Mike Mason began his career in 1995 at The LawnPro on a mowing crew while attending the University of Louisville. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in finance and minoring in international business. In 2000, Mike was promoted to COO and took the lead on day-to-day operations. In 2020, Mike and his wife of 29 years, Dana, purchased the company from his father-in-law.
Over his 30-year career, Mike has served the industry in many capacities and has been an advocate at the local, state, and national levels. He served on the board of directors for the Snow and Ice Management Association for six years, one of which he was President. He was recognized as a Trailblazer by the National Association of Landscape Professionals and served on the board of directors for the Kentucky Turf Council.
